About Mooresville, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Located in the state of Indiana, the town of Mooresville belongs to the Morgan County. It is part of the Brown Township and is home to a population of 9,326 people. The town is positioned on a total area of 6.46 square miles including 0.06 square miles of water. The town is named for Samuel Moore, who founded the town in 1824.

Many of the places in Mooresville are listed among the National Register of Historic Places. These include the Mooresville Commercial Historic District, Mooresville Gymnasium and the Mooresville Friends Academy Building. There is also a post office that has been operating since 1826.

Routes such as the Indiana State Road 67, Indiana State Road 42 and Indiana State Road 144 all run through the town towards its southern end. The expansion of the Indianapolis airport has brought the town closer, so a visit here will only be 11.5 miles away. If you stop by and are looking for something to do, there are various recreational facilities in the town of Mooresville that will have you covered. These include various kinds of motorsports for which you can visit any track and rental store to begin the thrilling experience.

The town also features various parks where you can take a breath of fresh air and relax in the great outdoors. Wildlife reserves and parks offer children with a great time, so there's no need to miss out on a trip to the Lazy 5 Ranch or the Iredell County Outdoor Education Center. The climate of Mooresville is warm with the occasional spell of rain. The only exceptions are July and January when the temperatures reach 84.9F and 19F respectively. The higher temperatures during, the hotter months call for good air-conditioning systems indoors so that you can stay comfortable away from the heat.
